March 20: Larry Kane “Voice of Reason” Show

Dan and I taped this show in late February, but the TV airing was delayed.  Finally we’ve learned it will be shown 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Comcast and again at 5:30 pm. on Wednesday the 23rd.  Probably on Channel 8 and Comcast HD Channel 201, but please check.  Larry’s been around Philadelphia for a long time, but we told him a couple of things he didn’t know about city history.  Also, an audio version will be available on the KYW Newsradio website:

This broadside is eight feet high and was seen on windows in downtown Philadelphia in June, 1863, as black leaders called a meeting to convince black men to join the Union Army prior to Gettysburg.
